Webb Co. Sheriff's Office recovers stolen flatbed trailer, equipment

The Webb County Sheriff’s Office recovered a flatbed trailer along with drilling equipment that were reported stolen, authorities said.

At about 3 p.m. Oct. 8, the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division received a possible location of a flatbed trailer with equipment stolen out of the San Antonio Police Department.

Investigators responded to the 2000 block of East Del Mar Boulevard. There, authorities encountered a 2023 AmeriTrail flatbed trailer, 2024 JT20-1316 equipment and a 2024 JT20-1316 locator attached to an unoccupied 2021 Chevrolet 2500 pickup truck.

The trailer and the equipment had an estimated value of $375,000. Sheriff's officials returned the trailer and equipment to the owner.
